    Opening bid $25,999, no reserve, no bids yet, 6 days left in auction. Buy it now proce $32,000.

    Sellers description:
    I am selling my 68 E Type project. The following has been done so far:

    * Complete Body Restoration with British Racing Green Paint. Beautiful job, with PPG paint.
    * All new floorpans as this was the only area on the car with rust.
    * All new Chrome parts for the front bonnet. Series 1.5 E Types have unique parts and they are quite expensive
    * New rubber installed around the car
    * Newly rebuilt Engine by Probst Engineering a longtime Jaguar Engine Builder. Steve retired last year and this was one of the last 2 Jag Motors he ever built. Engine was rebuilt in 2005 and has sat wrapped and sealed. Transmission is new as well as is the clutch and carbs. This engine is a thing of beauty.
    * New Aluminum Radiator by Ron Davis Racing
    * New Aluminum Gas Tank
    * New Tan Hartz Convertible Top
    * Many, many other new parts from engine mounts to exhaust parts to just about everything you could imagine. Almost everything is here, except it will need an interior kit, available from several vendors.

    What this car needs is assembly. The engine is out of the car, the rear axle assembly is still in and will need to be gone through although it is in good order. Many other new parts around the car are already installed.

    Spam prevention question (must be answered):
    The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

    What disease did Lucas succumb to?
