This Jaguar E-Type 4.2 Series 1 Fixed Head Coupe is a timeless 1960s sports car, which has benefited from a restoration completed in 2015.
Under the bonnet is a matching numbers naturally aspirated 4.2-litre straight-six, delivering around 265bhp to the rear wheels via a four-speed matching numbers manual transmission.
This E-Type was first registered in July 1965, and the second owner purchased the car as a restoration project in 1994 and completed the restoration in 2015. The car was recently acquired by its current and third owner.
The odometer shows 75,827 miles, however this is not warranted.
EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES
This E-Type Series 1 is finished in its factory specified colour of Opalescent Dark Green over a beige leather-trimmed cabin.
It rides on a set of 15-inch polished wire wheels with twin-eared knock-offs.
Equipment includes a wooden-rimmed three-spoke steering wheel, a heated rear window, push-out rear quarter light windows, a Motorola radio, and Pioneer speakers.
Coopercraft International front brakes , Koni Classic adjustable shock absorbers, H4 Halogen Headlamps, and Dunlop SP Sport Tyres have been fitted.
The car will be supplied with its Jaguar heritage certificate, copies of previous registration documents, a collection of MOT certificates and invoices, and a photographic record of the full restoration.
Two ignition keys will be supplied.
CONDITION
This vehicle is now exempt from mandatory MOT testing due to its age.
SERVICE HISTORY
This E-Type’s most recent service was reportedly completed in 2024 at around an indicated 75,700 miles by the previous owner.
