    Advertised 3 February 2019 on carsales.com.au asking AUD$265,000.
Seller’s description: “1967 E-type. A very rare opportunity to purchase a completely original unrestored Series 1 E-Type coupe which ticks all the boxes. Two long term owners from new. Australian delivered (Bysons) 62,000 miles from new with all it's original books and tools. Never been damaged or rusty. All matching numbers. New set of correct Michelin tyres. Has had a few touch ups over the years but largely original paint. Just had a major service by Jaguar specialist. Excellent condition throughout. Very reluctant sale”.

Advertised on carsales.com.au 14 September 2023, asking AU$225,000. Car is in Brisbane, Queensland. Seller’s description (edited) follows:

This matching numbers car was delivered to Bryson Industries Ltd, Melbourne in mid 1967. Production records indicate the car was built on 19 April 1967 and dispatched to Bryson’s on 9 May 1967. Car was delivered new to Maurice Hetherington of North Deniliquin, NSW late 1967.  In 1968 it was traded to Burchfield Bros dealership in Deniliquin. In the 1980s the car went from a Sydney owner to Ken Brown of Launceston, Tasmania. In 1993 Ken sold it to Bill Alexander of Hobart, Tasmania. Bill owned the car for 23 years although it was laid up for 12 of those. In 2017 the car was sold to a Sydney collector.

In 2019 it underwent a comprehensive under-bonnet refresh including new stainless steel exhaust system, camshafts re-shimmed, carburettors restored, new ignition wires and plugs, contactless points, new electric fan, alternator refurbished, radiator restored, new header tank, steering rack overhauled, new tie rods, new hoses, stainless steel sleeves to brake master, clutch master and clutch slave cylinders.

The car currently shows 67936 miles which, on the evidence of previous Tasmanian owners, is believed to be genuine.  I have the original Bryson periodic maintenance book along with the original handbook and original radio documents (in fact the car still has its original radio).

The car is offered with a comprehensive history file including Jaguar Heritage Certificate.

This E-type is offered in as original condition. This is a survivor car.

    Additional information added by seller:

The vehicle found its way in the 1980’s to Tasmania Ken Brown of Launceston purchased the vehicle from an owner in Sydney,Ken had the owner drop the car directly to a ship sailing from Botany to Tasmania after paying for the car and returning to Launceston. Ken kept the car with the NSW plates not bothering to register the vehicle under his ownership but I can confirm the Ken sold the car in 1993 to Bill Alexander from Hobart. Ken maintained that he never got the car wet during his ownership and would not allow Bill to drive it back to Hobart unless the weather was clear. Bill had the car for 23 years in that time he removed the the wires and fitted minilites the wires were off the car for 23 years and remain in perfect condition for their age. In fact the car was layed up for 12 of those 23 years and in 2015 the car was shipped to Martin Wilson of Westbury Automotive to have the Jaguar re commissioned, I have spoken to Martin confirming what repairs were undertaken to have the vehicle returned to a serviceable condition. The car was purchased in 2017 by a Sydney collector I can confirm the mileage on the odometer was 63232 miles in June 2017 after being driven from Hobart to Sydney. In 2019 the underwent a comprehensive under bonnet refresh including a new stainless steel exhaust system camshafts were reshimmed, carburettors were restored, new ignition wires and plugs contactless points fitted new electric fan fitted with a 25 amp fusible link, radiator restored ,new header tank fitted, steering rack overhauled, new tie rods fitted, new hoses fitted, brake master cylinder sleeved along clutch master and slave cylinders sleeved, new fan belt alternator refurbished. The odometer is currently showing 67936 miles this appears to be genuine after speaking to the two previous owners in Tasmania. This Series 1 E-type FHC Jaguar is offered in as original condition, this is a survivor car. I have the original Bryson periodic maintenance book along with the original handbook, original radio documents in fact the original radio fitted by the original owner is still fitted to the vehicle. Maurice also confirmed that original rear view mirror is still fitted to the car it was fitted to the vehicle by the Mercedes Benz dealer from Deniliquin in 1968. The car is offered with a comprehensive history file heritage certificate from Jaguar confirms all the numbers match and presented in as original condition on the original wires and fitted with Michelin 185 HR 15 XVS tyres.

The car is offered as follows: - Presented in original condition - sympathetic mechanical restoration under bonnet - comprehensive history file confirming Bryson delivery original log and maintenance books - documented proof of previous ownership - the vehicle is offered unregistered as the vehicle is on Queensland club registration Price $225,000
