At some stage in its life this car underwent restoration and was repainted red.
After delivery to Australia it underwent a sympathetic restoration, was converted to RHD and was repainted to original silver

Seller’s description summarised: Comes with Jaguar Heritage Trust Certificate. Car was originally delivered to the USA but has been converted to right hand drive and the original US twin carburettors have been upgraded to triple SU system.  Full record of maintenance and upgrades carried out during my ownership including: Full mechanical and electrical recommissioning after 10 years off the road, solid state SU fuel pump, electronic ignition, modern radio, new water pump, alternator reconditioned, new Moto-Lita steering wheel, exhaust manifold replaced, headlights converted to LED, engine completely rebuilt 16000 km ago.
