Sold by the Classic and Sportscar Centre of Malton in June 2025. Abbreviated seller's description below.

www.classicandsportscar.ltd.uk/jaguar-e-type-series-iii-v12-roadster/classic-car ...

TSN332M is a genuine RHD home market UK specification V12 roadster. It was registered on 4 September 1973 and is a low mileage example recording 62,200 miles with MoT certificates supporting the mileage back to 1984 at 46,553 miles. It has the desirable manual transmission and is finished in British Racing Green with Biscuit upholstery and excellent chrome wire wheels with Pirelli tyres. It has a Black mohair roof and matching cover and the boot is correctly lined in Biscuit trim.

We sold this V12 to its most recent owner in London in 2016 and in the 7 years of ownership he covered around 4000 miles. Over this period over £10,000 was spent on maintenance and upgrades and it returns in excellent condition. Work has included a modified oil filter, overhaul of the differential, new brake callipers, trailing arms and bushes, new propshaft UJs and brake pads. When sold in 2016 it had a new mohair roof, starter motor, and exhaust mountings.

This outstanding E Type presents superbly and is in top class condition throughout. The bodywork has beautiful straight panels and excellent gaps. It has a clean underside and wheel arches. The bulkhead and space frame are excellent with no corrosion issues. The paintwork is exceptional, the stunning glass finish is complimented by the chrome work. The interior is beautifully aged that has been well cared for. The leather seats, carpets, door cards and dashboard are excellent.

It has only 4 former keepers from new and comes with a file of receipts, MoT certificates and tax discs. This is an exceptional car presented in outstanding, usable condition.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
