VIN 1S 50563
Originally delivered to Australia
private Sale
Willow Vale, QLD, Australia
This Jaguar E-Type Series 3 V12 2+2 FHC is an elegant and timelessly stylish classic British sports car, offered from previous long-term ownership.
Under the bonnet sits a naturally aspirated 5.3-litre V12, delivering around 203kW to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transmission.
This original Australian-market example has been with the seller for two years, having remained with its previous owner for an impressive 40 years.
The car is currently unregistered and was last registered in 2022.
The odometer indicates 58,641 miles, which the seller believes to be accurate, though this is not warranted.
Build year: 1971
EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES
This E-Type Series 3 V12 2+2 FHC is finished in the appealing hue of Sky Blue, over a Navy leather-trimmed interior, featuring a black dashboard and transmission tunnel, blue carpets, and chrome trim highlights.
It rides on a set of 15-inch chromed steel wheels fitted with Michelin XDX tyres.
Equipment includes a three-spoke steering wheel, a wooden gear knob, Smiths gauges, push-out rear quarter light windows, a Kienzle analogue clock, and heater and ventilation controls.
This example has been fitted with an aftermarket cassette stereo.
The car comes with the partially stamped service booklet, a State of Victoria Transfer of Registration, an F.R.Strange Pty Ltd auction booklet, an owner’s manual with a brown plastic wallet, and a period magazine piece.
One ignition key is included.
CONDITION
Specific notes from the seller include: there are some touch-ups on some of the exterior panels, and the interior shows an age-related patina.
The seller notes that the carburettors will need to be rebuilt due to the car having been sitting for a few years, though it is still reported to run.
