Sellers description:
1968 Jaguar XKE Series I Roadster
Chassis No. 1E17469
Engine No. 7E16819-9
Body No. 4E9539
1E17469: Offered here is a wonderful survivor example of this famous British marquee, on which no reasonable effort was spared in the endeavor to preserve its originality.
Finished in the desirable British Racing Green/Black leather combination, this rare open-headlight, 4.2L Series I XKE is bound to be a gem in any enthusiast’s stable.
Cosmetically, this car remains vastly original. The interior’s thick black leather upholstery has aged gracefully over the years, providing character and supple support. The paint presents quite nicely as does the biscuit hood and cover. The original floor pans and door sills were replaced some time ago.
The car is mechanically solid throughout, featuring a very strong engine coupled with a reliable transmission and drivetrain. Well maintained and treasured by its previous owner, the XKE is accompanied by extensive servicing records from the past 15+ years.
Several service documents and accessories accommodate the car, such as: jack and case, hammer and knock off remover, spare wheel/tire, and Jaguar Authenticity Certificate.
* Excellently Preserved!
* Beautiful Color Combination!
* Highly Desired 4.2L Series 1!
* A Strong Investment for Many Years to Come!
Only: $47,500.00!!
